WOW and ugh. Such a sad state of affairs. My solution to the problem is get involved and get OUTSIDE! Make the kids go swing in a tree, get dirty in the mud, sit outside and read a book. I think a lot of parents turn a blind eye to the impact of media because putting their kids in front of media is instantly getting the kids off their hands. Sad. And obviously, with negative longterm impact.
