Before I start, let me warn you that this post is picture-heavy. Lately, I have been browsing and busying myself looking at different home designs online especially over at Pinterest. That is also not to mention that my favorite channel is HGTV! I just love the make-over shows featuring the before and after scenes after a renovation was done. I have been actually dreaming of writing HGTV one day and ask to do our home next. lol Right now, we are living with our father-in-law who is a handyman just like my husband. They are the ones who usually do the household repairs especially those that concern plumbing but sometimes when the chore is tough then we resort to Roto-Rooter for help or we contact a plumbing company near us, akin to the Vancouver plumbers Sarkinen Plumbing, especially if it is a bigger job than any of us can handle.
In terms of the theme, I am still undecided as to what type of home design I should follow-country, eclectic, minimalist, modern.etc. The following photos were taken from Pinterest. Let me share the bathroom designs I see fit for a small space bathroom.
The photo below shows a mini space, I estimate this as merely just your two arms extended widely. Nonetheless, it was equipped with the basic bath requirements : shower, toilet bowl and sink. I think that it just lacks a little color.

This one, I like for the colors incorporated in it. I love the green and this somehow gives a refreshing look. I also love the floor tiles which made the colors and the total look complementing.

Aside from the good use of space (because I do think that this space is also maximized), I love the lighting and the use of matching rugs which made the look so pleasant.

Again for the photo below, I love how the color green was incorporated, aside from that unconventional bathroom lighting was used which looks like an oriental lamp.

This one by the way looks so dainty and will fit for a personal bath. I like the minty-teal green and the mini curtain at the window.

With the photo below, I love the classic design of the dresser turned into lavatory, this is a very cool idea! The drawers can still be used as storage space and of course the mirror now serving a new look but same purpose. This also reminds me that we can reuse our old furniture and make more out of it.

Let me end this post by saying that we still don’t have our own home, so this is just me “dreaming” about these spaces and designs. I know that it will come one day, that is wishful thinking…
