Happy New Year!

2013 has started and all I can do is be hopeful for all the things this year will bring. The past year had been a good one for me and my family. Our long time dream of being together has finally happened. For almost 9 Christmas(es), this is the first time my husband and I was able to spend Christmas and New Year together with our daughter, as family. That alone, had been a great blessing, not to mention the other opportunities and breaks I got here and there.

This is also a great time to be thankful for an unexpected visit I got from the Fairy Hobmother. He is one fairy (yes, a he!) who spreads light and joy across the blogoshpere. This is actually a Christmas visit and one that I have been expecting for a long time. This fairy goes around different blogs and rewards bloggers who have put some effort in their blogs. The Fairy Hobmother is very generous and gave me $50 gift of choice whether I want an Amazon code or Paypal cash that I use for some preparation for my daughter's party on the 6th. While he is not busy going around blogs, he works at Appliances Online together with some fairy overlords.
