To Stay At Home or to be Employed?
This is the question that has been debating in my mind over the past weeks. I am currently stay at home and quite enjoying it. Aside from some blogging gigs I get from this blog, I don’t have any other source of income. This question popped when my husband’s car broke down and we needed to get a new one, which means it is going to be an additional entry into our monthly bills. I really want to help out in augmenting our family’s expenses, I am not a “big time” blogger as compared to others out there and so the money I earn from blogging is not sufficient as compared to what I will earn if I have a full time job.
Actually, thinking about it leads me to more questions like : Who will take care of my daughter if I begin working? Do I need to upgrade my skills and enrol in trainings? How do I begin updating my resume? Do I look into resume templates or do I look to try and create a unique looking resume? Obviously being a blogger myself I know there are plenty of resources out there that can be of aid to me, but where do I actually start? And so on and so forth…
I know for a fact there are are e-learning sites (like http://leanforward.com/employment-resources/) that provide companies who have aspiring people who want to enhance their skills through training. In most cases the programs are even customizable to perfectly fit the need of their clients. In short everything can still be workable.
The only issue for me now is whether I will or will not go back to the workforce…this is the big decision I haven’t answered yet…
