I have mentioned a few tips in a previous post before about decorating your home in a budget. It is actually possible and easy to do. You just need to utilize the available resources at home plus add it with some little imagination and everything will turn out right.
This is actually the second part of the tips on how to decorate on a budget :
Use of Rugs/Carpets
A carpet or a rug can bring a lot of difference in the overall look of a room. Just imagine looking at a plain floor as compared to a carpeted one or one that is covered with a rug. Going to a carpet shop nottingham and picking out even the cheapest carpet available can totally transform a room. You don’t need to worry about maintaining carpets because there are some reliable carpet cleaning companies that provide excellent services. Alternatively, you can take the cleaning and maintenance of your carpet into your own hands. However, there are a few mistakes that can be easily made when you clean your own carpets so be sure to visit odessacrisiscenter.org to learn how to avoid them.
Use of Fresh Flowers
We have been so used of using artificial, silk flowers that we have already forgotten that fresh ones still exists. Fresh flowers are just about anywhere-in the backyard or n a nearby field. Flowers help a lot in terms of brightening the room and adding color, whether put in a coffee table, stand, kitchen table, or counter top-in a vase or arranged, it can make a room stand out without too much cost.
Stenciling
You can stencil things like wooden chests, dressers, stands, or any other furniture. You may also want to try stenciling a border on your walls. Stenciling is relatively low in cost if you do it yourself and it can really enhance the look of a room or piece of furniture.
With a little imagination and an eye for change we can completely change the look of a room or house just by doing simple and easy steps. Decorating can be cheap but classy, don’t you agree?
What changes have you made at your home recently?

Using rugs is a GREAT idea – they can pull a room together, even a room that may otherwise be kinda blah. But keeping them clean is so important. I try to vaccuum the undersides at least 3 times a year, which does help.
