All Things for the Better #GoodLife

It has been almost a half a year now since my daughter and I joined my husband here in San Jose. Honestly, I have dreamt of this for the longest time when our family can be finally together. Leaving my home country has not been easy especially leaving behind my parents who are at their prime age.

Well the past five months has been a roller coaster ride. A lot of adjustments came in, everything is new-set of friends, culture, weather and rekindled relationship with my husband plus a lot are still coming along the way,

One thing I learned in life, we should not be gobbled up with fear and worry.

There are times when I felt anxious of what lies ahead of us and what’s instored for our plans but being positive is the key. We don’t have everything we want in life but we can enjoy anything that we have.

If it is suffice to say, we try to maximize each day that we’re together by enjoying the company of eachother. We don’t need expensive shopping sprees or luxurious living to enjoy the life we have now, but instead enjoy the simplicity of what life has to offer-a day at the park, movie date nights in bed and lazy afternoon naps during weekends.

Just like Allstate, they create more good instead of the bad, that’s what we also need to do, fill our lives with anticipation for greater things to happen, release fear and doubt. We should claim that life is good and that there should be no room for anxiety. The fact that we continue to wake up each day means that we should BE THANKFUL, embrace life with more hopeful thoughts, because life is good.
