How to Keep Your Cars in Performance Auto Level

11.08.2012 by Icar //

Have you experienced those days when you need your car badly badly and then bam, it won’t start! You could be at the store, in your driveway, or your works car park, you’ll be on your phone searching Towing Less online so you can get it to the nearest garage for a fix! Maybe, it is just one of those days-those bad days. But did you ever think what could have been if you have checked it prior to using your car that morning? One need not be an expert or a mechanic to maintain your automobiles. We must come to realize that just like people or an ordinary human being our vehicles need proper maintenance and regular check-up to guarantee its maximum Performance Auto level.

Our cars just like our bodies, need the attention it deserves. I wonder if you have noticed how expensive it is to bring our cars to a mechanic and I presume that the cost of service will always come with a worthy price. Luckily, you can check out these olive insurance solutions that can help you get your car up and running. Meanwhile, there are some easy steps to follow, that will help us minimize those frequent trips to the car shop and our cars undergoing repair. The following are the simple DIY (Do-It-Yourself) maintenance replacements we can perform:

  • Spark Plugs-the usual replacement is when the vehicle has reached about 30,000 mileage or unless specified
  • Wiper Blades-the normal turn around for this is six months
  • Air Filter-just like with spark plugs this needed to be changed once the car reaches 30,000 miles or if not annually

All of these replacements come with a manual or instruction, which are most of the time easy to follow and comprehensible. These are the basic but let us remember that it isn’t everything there is. We need to know that there are still more complicated work-around like changing oil, engine tune up, replacing a broken serpentine belt with one of the best serpentine belt options out there, etc. Let us also be reminded that car maintenance is more than just cleaning, vacuuming and putting gas. It also exceeds more than just changing flat tires and substituting broken head lights and side mirrors. It is like listening and feeling your body, your inner self-testing for possible breakdown and malfunction.
