I always have a great Fourth of July celebration with my family. We have had a tradition ever since I have been alive with the same people, and it is just a fun time to spend together! This year we are having a surprise birthday party for my dad!
We are having a family BBQ and shooting some fireworks!
I really don't know if we'll do anything this year besides grilling out at home. It's too hot and too expensive this year to do much else.
We are having a family BBQ as well.
I'll probably just relax at home with a margarita and watch some baseball…then watch fireworks after dark.
I am going to wear a white top with blue skinnies on 4th..and watch the fireworks with my sister
I love family BBQs!
I lived outside US, so I don't have any plans
I have a childhood horrible memory of a tornado coming through while at a friends house swimming 4th July party with my parents. I must have been around 10 years old and I remember running downstairs in their house and trying to find a place to hide.
Since I'm Canadian, I don't celebrate the 4th, I celebrate Canada Day on the 1st. I've got to work on the 4th!
This year just a quiet holiday. Our town always has events and fireworks that go from morning to night. So after a family Barbeque it's off to the Parks.

a memory of one a long time ago: this little boy that decided to hot the fire cracker in his hand. Of course, it goes off…and burns his fingers. (he was 7)……and we grew up and married each other. 😉

we didn't do anything this 4th of july! just stay home and enjoy the day off 😀
There's nothing much about 4th of July in here…we spend it like any other ordinary day.
Since I'm up in Canada, today was just another day of taking care of my kids and hauling them to swimming lessons. 🙂
This year I worked during the 4th of July fireworks. However, on the 6th, there will be a fireworks display at the local campground that I'll be attending. Thanks.

I remember a 4th when my mom had told my dad to stop being so over protective so this fourth we hadn't sprayed down the weeds around are 1.5 acres property that year. Her reasoning was we never had, had any problems with fire before. We hadn't even come close to having a real fire. Well we all learned the wisdom of my father that year. We caught the fence between our house and one of our neighbors on fire. We were able to put it out because we still had a garden hose primed and ready in case of a fire. Well then we had a second fire this one was cause by a neighbors dud shell that exploded on the ground between the house and the garage and the house we had to use the hose and multiple fire extinguisers. Then I looked up and the Mountain near our home was on fire. We called 911 and were one of the first report that fire. This was a very big deal because the mountain is covered in sage brush and oil shale rock. If the fire got to hot the fire would become impossible to put out., and with the sage brush every acre that was burned would have to be dug up and turned to put out the hot spots because sage brush can hold a hot ember it its extensive root system for almost 100 years .
This year we went to 2 BBQ parties and watched rooftop fireworks! It was beautiful and the first time my daughter got to watch fireworks live and not on TV.
Nothing on the fourth, but on the first, Canada Day, we watched the small town fireworks from the deck out back.
my mother in law had her 60th bday celebration on 7/4
Unfortunately, my unforgettable 4th of July memory is not a happy one! I hadn't been feeling well, but went to an outdoor event w/my boyfriend as he'd already purchased tickets. It started raining really hard and we got soaking wet on the walk back to the car. When I got home, I found that the power was off! And I wound up with bronchitis.
No big memories, and we didn't do any big celebrations this year. Just watched the fireworks.
When all the kids were little we would all go to the parade and then have a bbq with swimming. they had so much fun.
I watched the town parade and brought my pup for a swim. It was a hot day!
At home we always watch the fireworks over the Indian River at the Ft. Pierce Jetty.

this year i went to my parents house like i always do it was my sons first 4th of july he loved the fireworks
We stood home and had a little get-together & barbequed, and we didn't have to leave anywhere to see a firework show as (although illegal in the city) there were firework displays coming from all directions in our city, so we had a good view from both our front AND back yards.
We went to our local 4th of July parade and had nice quiet cook out at home!
We have gotten out of the habit of celebrating this holiday since previously living in Europe over 6 yrs but we did make buffalo burgers and homemade fries this year.
We ate too much and hung out by the pool
This year we just had a bbq at home. Nothing fancy.
We haven't celebrated the fourth of July for many years now, but when I was a kid (a very long time ago) we used to stay over my aunt's house and my cousins and I would have a blast each of us would receive a bag of firecrackers, and we would have so much fun popping them, and just hanging out.
I spend the 4th of July at the beach with my boyfriend every year!
We had a bbq
love a day of relaxing!!!
I went to a friend's house and saw her kids…nothing too much. swam earlier in the day.
Last year! It was the first fourth of july with my husband.
