Champagne Pink Roses

02.25.2012 by Icar //

This can be actually considered to be a late Valentine’s Day post. I had been busy attending to some important matters lately. I just can’t help but share this special package I received on Valentine’s Day. My better half is not actually the romantic type (I think so), but he never fails to send and make his presence felt during special occasions like my birthday, Mother’s Day and Valentine’s.
This Valentine’s I didn’t really expect anything from him, with all our expenses for the past year and also for the forthcoming immigration-our medical examinations ($398), our visa fee ($808) plus the regular allowance he sends, I don’t mind if he will save some $50+ and skip sending flowers this year. Aside from that I was anticipating that there’s really no need for it since we will be together soon.
February 14th, I received an early call from the local LBC branch, asking for some landmarks, that instance I knew that my hubby sent something. It was during lunch time that this was delivered :

I got excited to guess what color it is this time :

Lo and behold!

My daughter was sick during that time and this bouquet surely made my low spirit rise.

The bouquet in some ways is an eco-friendly one. Aside from the wrapper used (photo above), it was also bundled by the same material-used as ribbon instead of plastic.
the sweet message on the card (Happy Valentine Babe and my baby
We will be together soon,  I ‘m waiting for both of you)
In the end, it is really the thought that counts. I have always been thankful to my husband for making his presence felt halfway around the world most especially during these special times. For making the distance between us shorter by sending these flowers and making me feel good inside and out.

That is sweet! Reminds me of the time when my hubby who was still my fiance' then were still miles apart. And like you he sent me presents on special occasions too, V-day of course was included. 🙂

Thanks for the visit. Late visit from CC here as well.
