03.14.2013 by Icar //

Technology has taken over so many facets of our lives. One aspect which is the most important is how technology has sped up the processing of our regular routines and chores. Errands like paying bills and checking our bank statements can now  be made in the comforts of our own home. It saves us time, energy and effort to go out of the house, consume gas or even falling in line with a long queue. Even if you are a business owner, you can still manage your business online, or if you are a mom who wants a new recipe for dinner, you can readily search for options online.

It is a known fact that technology has opened more portals for education.Online education has made its entrance a few years back and gave equal opportunities to those who want to take advantage of the ease of fulfilling their education. Aside from that company now has training programs which can be taken online. Not many of us know how a custom elearning development company develops its module and resources. There are actually two aspects of learning : Instructor Led Training and E-Learning. The following infographic will give us an idea how much time and money it costs to develop and hour's length of study.

From the information presented above, independent learning (E-Learning) still consumes more time and money however, the materials can be duplicated and reused over time as compared to instructor-led learning. But on the otherhand, there is a significant difference in the quantity and quality of instructor interaction when you compare classroom and eLearning. The student will determine the value in terms of subject and learning objectives, as well as the learner’s knowledge base and expectations.
