Tips to Protect Yourself Online #BreachProtection

*This is a sponsored post in behalf of LifeLock, however all thoughts and opinions are my own.  I was covered by Obama Care thru Covered California and chose Anthem Bluecross as my health insurance provider. I was set and ready to designate my PCP (Primary Care Provider) in February when I decided to call their customer service hotline to ask a few questions regarding my plan and coverage. I was filled with shock (and terror) upon hearing a recorded message on the other line which informed that the Anthem Bluecross system was hacked (cyber … [Read more...]

The Old Manila

I have received these photos from a group email sent to me about 3 years ago. It shows the old pictures of Manila during the 1960's when the city is in glorious state. I was overwhelmed and at the same time could only wish that  the city's impressive state before had been preserved. Below are the photos with some description. The intention of sharing this is to glorify the once glorious city that has once been colonialized by Americans. First picture below was taken before the '60's Old Manila. Based on the old mobiles,  Studebakers, Buicks, Pontiacs and 1953 … [Read more...]

Be Inspired, Keep California Beautiful and Recycle!

I guess I became more conscious of the status of the environment when I became a mom. That is because I started thinking what can be the there for my daughter when she grows up. From then on, I made a conscious effort in any way I can to do something I can to help the environment. The effort became more pronounced when we move here in San Jose. It is a good thing though we were provided with separate trash containers so that we were able to practice segregation. In our home, there's a designated plastic crate dedicated for plastic and cans. When we are somewhere … [Read more...]

I started getting clumsy and dropped things which didn't happen before. I also started experiencing short but light fainting spells which later on became nauseous and then eventually developed into morning sickness. Oh boy! I think this is the most gruelling part … [Read more...]
